Julie
Owner and Director
Julie founded the school over 15 years ago while working toward an undergraduate degree from Harvard University Extension School, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Early Childhood Development, graduating Cum Laude. Julie is currently pursuing her Master’s at Tufts University’s Eliot Pearson School of Child Development, concentrating in Clinical Developmental Psychology.

Michelle
Assistant Director
When you ask Michelle what she loves most about her day as a preschool teacher, she’ll answer “playing and laughing with the children.” Michelle is an active, positive influence on the children and her day is packed with play and exploration. Michelle holds a BA in Psychology and is pursuing a Master’s in Early Childhood Education. With extensive experience in caring for children, Michelle is an asset to The Learning Circle and an excellent role model for early childhood educators. In her spare time, Michelle is an avid field hockey player and enjoys spending time with her family.

Erica
Somerville Building Coordinator, Lead Toddler Teacher
Erica joined TLC while working part time in high school, her passion for working with children is apparent everyday in her toddler classroom. Erica is currently working towards her BA in Early Childhood Education. Erica is outgoing, energetic and keeps her toddler’s engaged with a variety of activities. Her favorite part of her TLC day; “watching the children learn and grow.”
